Chobe Full Day Safari Trip

Exceeded my expectations! What an amazing experience to be able to see so many animals in one day. Every person I encountered was very friendly and made the experience even more enjoyable. It's not often that I do the same thing twice when it comes to traveling, but I would repeat this tour if I were in Botswana again and would recommend to friends/family. My driver even helped me get a cab to and from dinner after the tour was over.

I was worried how this tour was going to work out time wise. But I should not have. Everything was perfect and ran so smoothly that I never once looked at my watch.The Safari itself was perfect. Heading towards the Safari my driver pointed out animals I did not even see. I was always escorted through immigration, never worried about what was next as I was told what was going to happen at all times. On both the water and land portions of the tour I was able to get very good views of all the animals, the guides were very knowledgeable and engaging. Lunch was excellent and I had enough personal after lunch to take in the beautiful scenery. One of the best investments I could have made my entire time in Africa. Greta Job

We started with the driving and was very lucky to see also the lions. Lunch was ok and at the afternoon we did the river cruise which also was really nice and saw lot of elefants . The hole trip was a 5 star tour, but what we do not like is, that ate is many persons involve in the different parts of the trip, and Chapman who did the rivercruise was getting very unfriendly, because everyone want some tips. We did pay almost 200 USD each, then the company has got a lot of money to share between all the guides. Chapman was very unpolite because we did not gave him more money!

We took the standard one day trip. Our excellent guide, Tich of Intondolo Safaris, met us with a driver and helped us through customs from Zimbabwe to Botswana. After customs we met another driver who took us to the Chobe River. The river tour was special. A small boat, wonderful views of animals and a knowledgeable guide, Brian of PuKa Safaris. Tich and Brian said we were lucky, but we say large herds of elephants, come playing in the river, also hippo and cape buffalo. After a nice lunch back on shore, we took a game drive on land following the river. Elephants were close and we saw giraffe. We went other places to see game, but for me this was the best.

My experience at Chobe was fantastic. My only limited qualm was that there were multiple people involved in the process of transport from site to site - that it was hard to tip! I was picked up from the guest lodge where I stayed in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, and was transported by 2 awesome gentlemen from the Intondolo Safari and Tour company. We were met at the border by a representative King from a Botswana Safari company Puka, who helped get me through the line at the border, and then escorted me to a van with other passengers who were being split up with other companies. However, I was very impressed as to how well they all worked together. Once we dropped off the few guests going on another tour, we proceeded for about 20 minutes to Chobe. Along the way, we saw plenty of wildlife, including a herd of elephants! We began with the water safari with our boat operator, Brave, on the Chobe River - which was AWESOME! These drivers are so knowledgeable about the wildlife, pointing out many species of birds to us, and showing us things that we probably would not have seen without a guided eye! We were then taken to the Chobe Safari Lodge for an awesome buffet lunch! We were picked up from there by our next guide, who took us into Chobe National Park on a land safari in an open air vehicle. The experience was second to none. If you are thinking about booking this - DO IT! Do not hesitate to book now!
