Boring on The Mississippi
Nancy_T

Understaffed snack/bar. Tour content is not engaging. Live music should be indoors. The cruise does not live up to its immense potential. For the price, at least a bottle of water should be provided and cool down mists installed. This company needs to invest more to make the experience more educational and pleasurable. Under the circumstances, the staff was great. Can’t ask for more from them. It’s the process that needs to be fixed. Voucher should be digital.
icon Response from Host , Jul 2022
Lets start with the "voucher" - in the next 30 days it will be a digital Boarding Pass. Most people find the air conditioning nice and cool. Perhaps you meant outdoors - misters can not be installed and possibly cause slippery decks. We will share all your comments at the staff meeting.

Steamboat Brunch was nice! Very relaxing and great for friends and family. The food options were limited. I would like to see more of a variety for brunch. Also, service was a little slow.

The narrator gave interesting information on New Orleans. The buffet was nice, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to get photos with some of the places if interest and the paddle wheel.

Be kind and respectful

It was a good experience. The Jazz band was wonderful. The narrative was excellent and clear. We couldn’t see anything. We encountered rude and nasty individuals who came late, disregarded others by standing at the rails and blocking views of those who sat near the rails. We asked them to move but they refused. So overall we didn’t enjoy the trip.

Not Happy
Karen_W
, May 2022
We never made it to the boat. There was a strong thunderstorm that morning. We requested a refund based on our ages (73 & 77) and didn’t want to be confined indoors with lots of other people. Viator refused the refund request.
icon Response from Host , May 2022
We regret that you were not able to cruise with us. Viator has rules regarding cancellations so perhaps they denied it.

Blah Food
Vincent_M
, Apr 2022
I was disappointed that this company replaced the spectacular lunch buffet with a mediocre breakfast buffet. The offerings consisted of dried up tasteless egg squares, frozen microwaved potato cubes, and shriveled up skinny sausages. No bacon or ham and the salad had no dressing. Had to ask for salt, pepper, hot sauce, etc. I suspect they are trying to save money. Also, the boat seemed overcrowded, though they organized it well.
icon Response from Host , May 2022
Vincent, we still serve lunch Mon-Saturday. We will share your food comments with the Ched
