Great swamp tour in kayaks
, Dec 2021
We had an unseasonably warm December day so even if we hadn’t seen animals, it would have still been fun. But we did see alligators, turtles, owls and other birds. Fun to do our own paddling too! Josh was our guide and he was great! Funny, interesting and well organized.

Thank you for the great review Karen! We are glad you enjoyed your time with Josh on the bayou! We hope to see you again soon!
I'd go again.

Josh and Curtis were not only helpful guides, but were also quite knowledgeable of local widlife in addition to envasive species. Highly recommend this tour to get away for a little while from the hustle and bustle of the city. Kayaks were simple to maneuver, even for a slightly overweight 62 year old. I'd do it again.

Thank you so much for the great review!
Just do it! 😏

We surprisingly didn’t experience one mosquito, saw plenty of smaller alligators that didn’t attack us and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We got stuck on a stump somehow and he risked his life by getting in the water to push us out! We appreciate the experience and suggest it.
Sunny, beautiful, nature, fun!

Dustin was an awesome tour guide! So much fun and the weather was perfect. We saw a few alligators but felt safe in the kayaks!

Nice diversion from the French quarter. Calm and relaxing. Our guide was very informative. At times it was difficult to hear him but it was nice to have a day on the water. Enjoyed our trip.
Educational kayak trip

Really enjoyed Max! He was a fun guide and saw plenty of alligators. We also saw a big beautiful barn owl In the trees near the water! It was phenomenal. I’d definitely plan to bring water. Maybe that should be highlighted a bit more to bring water. Really nice.
Perfect afternoon tour!

Loved this outing! It was an easy trip from New Orleans. Our guide Julie was absolutely fabulous with great energy and tons of knowledge! I was nervous about getting in and out of the kayak but the owner Josh was so incredibly kind and so helpful it was a breeze! I highly recommend!!
max was the best tour guide!

Max was the BEST tour guide we’ve ever had. His knowledge of nature and Louisiana is what made this experience so personal and fun! Better to go on a tour with a local who cares about the environment and history, than with a company who didn’t grow up in louisiana.

Thanks Mekhela! You are definitely right, it’s always good to go with a local guide and company. We strive to provide the best local experience out there. We hope to see you on the bayou again soon!

We took a kayaking trip seeking tranquility. It was an awesome release of stress and our guide was very enjoyable. She was very knowledgeable about the tress in the bayou. We had to do to a different bayou because the original one was flooded; however, I would recommend to anyone.
