A wonderful life time memory!

I can't recommend this tour enough! I had an unforgettable day with Daniel, Whisper and Emmanuel, as well as with the One Horizon Tour Guide, Caroline, who was absolutely amazing. It was a true privilege to be welcomed into their lives to hear about Masai culture and customs but even more fascinating was to learn of their own personal life stories (and to exchange with mine!). I was deeply grateful for their openness and inspired to hear of how they have overcome difficulties and stand as champions in their community. I will always remember this visit - it has had a profound personal impact on me and I will proudly and eagerly share my memories and learning widely!

I don't have words to describe how wonderful and personally impactful this trip was. I know I will never forget this experience and all that I have learned. I had deciced that this Kenya visit time around I wanted to learn more about the people of Kenya and this trip really offered this. I got a really go understanding of the Massai way of life, their customs and their society. Daniel and his family really welcomed me with grace and open arms and I feel extremely priviledged by their openess. It was a day of mutual curiosity and I am profoundly thankful for this experience.

What a wonderful day. Carol from One horizon came to pick us up at our hotel and we drove for an hour and 30 minutes outside Nairobi to spend the day with a Masai family. We learned about their traditions and their lifestyle. The family was very happy to meet us and even sang happy bday to me. After, we sat under an acacia tree and made bracelets. The weather was pleasant. Carol was more than nice. She brought coffee, Kenyan donuts, and bottles of water for us. At some point, we felt connected to one another and we laughed while making our bracelets. Carol is so sweet. She answered so many questions we had for her. Even after she dropped us at our hotel, we had more questions for her and she answered all of them. Great tour ! BOOK!!!!

Great opportunity to meet a Massai family ( parents and a 25 years old son) that speak us about their past and present in different aspects of their life. High interaction and open to questions. Warm family and the tour is organized by an NGO that has extensive experience of working with the Massai. So knowledgeable ONG on the Massai. We have a very nice and interesting day.

This was a tour to a Masai Homestead with lots of information on the Masai life style you get to see menyatta's (the stick built homes they traditionally live in ) a bead making demonstration and a chance to make a bracelet yourself . They will explain the traditions of the Masai in depth and answer all questions you have. Within a hour of Nairobi on good roads.. a real plus! The guide and driver were very helpful with information and translating questions.
