An eye-opener and a trip through a path less trodden
Raghav_G

This was an excellent experience where I got to hear about and experience a side of Nairobi that few would naturally be inclined to undertake. Listening to the tour guides' stories was an eye-opener and also inspiring with respect to how they are trying to move away from a life that comes naturally to those in their circumstances. And even though we did go through "downtown" Nairobi, I do not think that anyone in the group felt uncomfortable - that's kudos to the guides.

Special tour with special people

The tour gave me a glimpse of hardship the tour guides lived through (and I am sure, some continue to live through), and at the same time also showed me the strength of their resilience. I felt incredibly privileged that QuickQuick opened up to me, a stranger - and shared his deeply personal life stories with me while walking through the Nairobi CBD. He was an excellent story teller and a tour guide, I would highly recommend this tour for anyone.

An excellent experience that will open you up to a different side of Nairobi and Kenya. Hearing their stories will illicit so many feelings: hope, frustration, inspiration....you will laugh, empathize, and learn. I highly recommend doing this tour. The guys are simply incredible

I took the Nai Nami Nairobi...

I took the Nai Nami Nairobi Storytelling Tour with Kissmart, Donga and Cheddaz and had the best time : I can highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to learn about the real Nairobi .. hearing the guy's stories about their lives and time spent on the streets of this colourful and bustling city was both humbling and inspiring. Nairobi can be intimidating for a newcomer like me, so I was delighted to have had the chance to experience the city in this way without worrying about safety or getting lost! I cant speak highly enough about my wonderful tour guides, who had such great energy and enthusiasm.. we chatted for the day, ate lunch at a local cafe and walked the streets and markets, meeting locals and seeing the sights... and I came away with the feeling that I wanted to stay! If you are in Nairobi.. even for a short time... do this tour! You wont regret it :
