This sightseeing tour to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon begins with a hotel pickup in Las Vegas. Hop aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned motor coach equipped with reclining seats, panoramic windows and onboard restroom. Then make the trek east, first stopping at the Hoover Dam bypass bridge for a great photo opportunity, a stop for breakfast (included) and then driving through Joshua Tree forests and the Mojave Desert to the Grand Canyon.

Upon arrival at the Grand Canyon, enjoy four (4) hours of self-guided exploring at the West Rim. Hike to the Eagle Point and Guano Point overlooks to take in the amazing views. Visit the Hualapai Ranch for a wild west show and enjoy a delicious hot lunch available from a variety of different outlets (included in tour price). There are many options and a variety of exciting possibilities.

There are also two upgrades to consider during this time frame. First, consider adding a thrilling walk on the Grand Canyon Skywalk, a glass walkway nearly 4,000 feet above the floor of the canyon. Secondly, there's a stunning helicopter/boat ride. Lift off high above the canyon in a helicopter, then swoop down between its walls and land on the canyon floor. Walk around, get an up-close look at the many layers of the interior of the canyon and gain an even greater appreciation of the immensity of this natural wonder. Additionally, enjoy a pontoon boat ride along the Colorado River, looking up at the canyon’s many beautiful colors and stunning rock formations.

Majestic, breathtaking, God created natural wonder of the world

It is hard to decide on any one aspect since the entire area is so spectacular. I will highlight eagles point since it is where I began my tour, it was jaw dropping and took my breath away. My tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. I will remember him as funny Freddie.

A little disappointed
Vanessa_I
, Aug 2022
The Grand Canyon itself was amazing and exactly as you imagine it to be. There were no fences which made photo opportunities great! My partner and I didn’t really enjoy the tour as it just seemed to take too long to leave the hotel, too many stops on the way there and back and too much time as both view points of the Grand Canyon. Because there isn’t really anything to do there. I though there would be optional activities we could opt for once we got there as stated in the description. For us, the tour wasn’t what we wanted and wasted a lot of time in that day that we could of been doing something else.

The transportation sucked. Not what was expected
Shaaron_Y
, Aug 2022
The Grand Canyon was okay. The ride was horrible. The advertisement and the booking agent said that we would be traveling in a air conditioned tour bus with a bathroom. We were in a cramped shuffle bus with no bathroom. Hurt the legs and back.

The driver was very nice and helpful. I was glad that I took the tour instead of driving. The biggest issue was others being in time for departures. The lunch wasn’t great either.

Didn’t like having to pay...
Wesley_E

Didn’t like having to pay an additional $40 once on tour bus. This should have been explained prior- why was it not included in payment I made when I reserved trip. So your pricing is misleading at best

Great, but beware guide and extra costs
Paul_B
, Aug 2022
Fantastic, breath-taking, awesome. The only was to describe what we saw. Just a pity the guide offered no explanation about the Grand Canyon’s formation or what to look for…and as for asking for an extra $10 to board the bus because of the fuel price hike, screamed SCAM.

Worse transportation to locations ever. Beware!

Just got back from the worst tour that I have ever been on. The problems started when the bus picked us up, it was very chaotic. The bus was not labeled with grey line. The were problems and the driver was rude to people. We finally get on the bus and it was hot . It was at least 85 if not more, the bus was not air condition, it was cooler outside in the shade. Outside temp was 100 for the day. I would be okay if the bus cooled down, but it never did. The driver barely said anything during the tour, when he did we couldn’t hear him, after about the twelfth time saying “we can’t hear you”, finally talked louder but he was just mumbling. Got to breakfast , didn’t tell anyone what to do. I asked and he said I only have 5 people who get breakfast, made me go get my receipt and then said oh get in subway, rudely. Never offered anyone water. I believe we were supposed to get a water. Got to the Grand Canyon, still hot on the bus, mumbled something and ran off to get the tickets. Came back .A Lady said she should have some other ticket she should get, he basically said prove it, then another grey line lady pulled her to the side and helped her. Nothing to complain about at the Grand Canyon or the food there. Got back in a hot bus. I must mention, the driver should not be driving a bus for your company, he constantly crossed the rumble strip, even over correcting, to the point the bus started to wobble, heard a lot of seatbelts clicking . He was going to slow under the limit, I got one of those apps that tell you the speed. People were passing like crazy, even other tour buses. At one point a semi went to pass us and the bus driver drifted over into the lane the semi was and we got honked at We got to Hoover dam and he stopped and asked if anyone one really wanted to do this, it seemed like he was hoping everyone would say no. In closing, again this was the worst tour I have been on. Bus was not air conditioned, bad driver, rude driver. I asked for a partial refund because the locations were fine. It was the transportation that was bad. Partial refund was refused.

Bucketlist Come True
Felice_H

From beginning to end was a pleasant experience. Customer service was very helpful whenever I called with questions and our guide Deidra (Didi) was the best. She is a great guide, driver and knowledgeable in her field. She tried to make our ride as pleasant as possible and listened to everyone's requests. The Grand Canyon was a bucket list event come true. Me and my husband was grateful for the overall experience.

Once we actually got on the bus, finding out where to actually get on was like pulling teeth. The tour bookers aren't very knowledgeable about giving good directions,or even knowing where to go. Bus driver Big Rob awesome! He gave a lot of good info concerning what to do after we arrive at the West Rim.

Slow moving
Tracy_V
, Aug 2022
This trip advertises that breakfast and lunch are included, there wasn’t a breakfast so that needs to be amended. Also be aware that the West Rim shuttle buses at the park are not running at maximum capacity so you could be waiting a long time to get from one area to another. Be aware of your time lines as we had to wait an extra 45 minutes past the meeting time to leave because of the lack of shuttle buses getting people around.
icon Response from Host , Aug 2022
Dear Tracy_V, Thank you for being a Gray Line customer and giving us your feedback. We are sorry that you had an issue with the breakfast and that is now fixed. We are sorry that you experienced a line issue at the West Rim, however all operations at the West Rim are handled by the Hualapai Nation, the Native American trip on whose tribal lands the West Rim sits- we will pass along your comments to them. Sincerely, GL Vegas Customer Service

Experience of the Grand Canyon was great but our driver was miserable and condescending. Nobody wanted to ask question because he bit their heads off.
icon Response from Host , Aug 2022
Hi Eileen, Thank you for both being a Gray Line customer and providing us with very useful feedback. We will be interviewing your driver to see if the attitude problem is something we can fix with additional training, or if we need to pursue a more permanent path. In closing, I want to thank you again and wish you all the best in your future travel experiences. Sincerely, GL Vegas Customer Service

Good Trip, Bad Organization
Chanay_S

Driver gave a time to return to the bus. However, we did not leave until over 2.5 hours later bc we were waiting for a couple who didn't return to the bus pickup until we were halfway to Las Vegas. Your company wanted the driver to return. Nope!! We the people weren't having it. I was tired and fearful of missing my flight. Others missed reservations and plans were disrupted.
icon Response from Host , Aug 2022
Dear Chanay, Thank you for being a Gray Line customer and we are sorry that you were inconvenienced by the inconsiderate behavior of some of your fellow passengers. When a sightseeing company takes people to remote & dangerous natural destinations we can not simply leave people behind as a legal principle known as "duty of care" comes into play. Once again, we are very sorry you were inconvenienced and we do wish you all the best in your future travel experiences. Sincerely, GL Vegas Customer Service

A truly wonder trip to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. Ideal for a day trip. Freddy the drive was amazing. He passed all the relevant information and changed the schedule to avoid the bad weather which would have affected our trip. Easy going trip, with plenty of time to explore the Rim at a good leisurely pace.

Disappointed with tour
Emma_T
, Jul 2022
Pick up point chosen no longer used. Left almost an hour later than should have. Included breakfast was at subway told could order anything but when came to the till we were told what we ordered wasn’t covered so had to pay. Only given 20 minutes at hoover dam. Advertised 4 hours at Grand Canyon we just about had 2 hours and felt constantly rushed to make sure we saw most things. Wished I had just driven ourselves instead of doing the tour!
icon Response from Host , Jul 2022
Dear Emma_T, Thank you for being a Gray Line customer and we are sorry that we missed your tour expectations and particularly if you found our pickup instructions amiss. At each Las Vegas hotel the sightseeing pickup location is designated by the hotel and on rare occasions they have been known to change it without much notice. While we missed your expectations, we do hope that you enjoyed the spectacular views at the West Rim and the hospitality of the Native Americans, the Hualapai Tribe, that operate the features at the West Rim. In closing, I want to wish you all the best in your future travel experiences. Sincerely, GL Vegas Customer Service

This tour was fabulous!...

This tour was fabulous! Our guides and driver Rob And Rod we simply amazing. The only irritating thing was we were led to believe we would get a hot breakfast and we got a subway breakfast sub closer to lunchtime. We didn’t eat because we figured breakfast would be at the start of the tour. It left us almost sick from lack of food. The rest of the tour was amazing. The company really needs to define the breakfast. We found it very misleading and were quite irritated

Dear Victoria, On behalf of everyone at Gray Line I want you to know that we are sorry you did not enjoy your day with us more. Most of our coaches are late model Volvo coaches, considered to be among the best available in North America. On occasion we also use some smaller coaches, yet these are also late model vehicles. We are also sorry that you were unaware of the fuel surcharge. This is fully disclosed during the Viator booking process. Viator rep gave us the wrong pick up time so we missed the tour bus and had to drive ourselves to see the grand canyon. Refund has still not been issued.
