Enjoyable day trip, would repeat with some tweaks

We had a decent time. Our driver was kind and pleasant to talk to. We spent a good deal of time driving and not much time at our destinations. We really enjoyed the walk through the National park (about thirty minutes) but unfortunately only had about 15 minutes on the “pirates of the Caribbean beach”- which was a highlight for me and my family. As a result, no time to snorkel. Next we went to a beach bar at Banana bay- it was beautiful. We were there about 1.5 hours and food was not included, but it was yummy! Some reviewers claim there was wifi, but I did not see that as an option- and not something I needed anyway. I did get some snorkeling in here. Water and beach were gorgeous. If you like sugary drinks made from a mix and tossed in a blender- this is the drinking hole for you, otherwise order beers (which I did and enjoyed). We had a nice time, so I am giving a 4/5. We just wish we would have had a bit more time to enjoy the National park and Banana Bay beach. We got back to our cruise terminal with hours to spare and the excursion was not a cheap one. We did tip our driver handsomely though, cost of living is high and the residents are trying to bounce back from hurricane Dorian. I don’t fault him for the logistics. In hindsight I would have booked a day trip to Banana Bay and the subsequent beach bar/restaurant. Freeport is not a walkable destination so getting away from port is essential. While I very much wanted to see the National park (nature lover here), the beach at Banana Bay is much less of a drive from Freeport and nearby as breathtaking.

I can't say enough about this AMAZING Experience. We had Charlie as our Tour Guide! He went over and above on our Tour. Charlie was super informative of the ISLAND, he showed me where to find a CONCH SHELL and I was able to select one on my own to bring home, he even went the extra mile to us to the marketplace so I could get some Braids in my HAIR> If you have a day in FREEPORT this is the #1 Tour to take.
