Small group Manatee Tour with In-Water Divemaster/Photographer

I booked the "Small Group Swim with Manatee Adventure" for a Morning Semi Private at 06:30am. Have always read that the manatees are more active and curious in the early morning. I booked this site over all the others b/c they have 5mm wetsuits. (I googled to see what the difference was) haha The 5mm wetsuits keep you warmer and they also help you float better. I can say that all was true!! It was a cold morning and the water was cold, but it was totally do-able w/the thicker wet suit!! Capt John Spann was totally awesome!! I haven't been snorkeling in 10 yrs. He gave me a refresher course and helped me relax in the water. It made the time so much more enjoyable! He stayed close by and was always ready to answer all our questions. He's very knowledgeable abt the manatees, their habits, the area and abt what he does. Laura drove the boat to where the manatees were and took us to 2 different places. These two work very well together and it shows that they enjoy their job! This swim was on my 'Bucket List' and they sure helped w/it being a success!! I paid a little bit more for the smaller group and the thicker wetsuit, both were so, so worth it. There was 4 total that went this morning. My husband and myself and another couple. PLUS after we got out of the water, Laura had hot coffee or hot choc for us! I would highly recommend this company and especially John and Laura!

Went out with Captains Mark and John on October 16 for the midmorning swim with manatees. We were provided a lot of information about manatees and the area. Spent over an hour swimming with a mother manatee and her calf, and then were joined by a bull manatee as well. John and Mark were full of great information and kept safety at the forefront. They shared the information we needed to get the most out of our encounter with a manatee and made sure that we got some great photos. They both went above and beyond our expectations making this swim an experience never to be forgotten. Thanks Mark and John. You guys made this whole adventure amazing.

What a great day with captains Lance and and Jason. I highly recommend the semi private tour as you do have more personalized attention. They made sure that our encounters with the Manatees was up close as they did not seem to know we were even there! The coffee and hot chocolate was a welcome bonus to take the chill off. Would certainly do it again. Cathy

Geweldige ervaring om te zwemmen met de manatees. De dieren zijn heel nieuwsgierig en komen soms vlak bij je zwemmen. Wij zaten in een bootje met 6 personen, de eerste toer in de morgend, zalig genoten van de rust op het water. Na de middag is het er vaak zeer druk met kayakkers.
