Fun Carriage Night Ride

Our driver Shannon was great! Even though it was very warm, she brought her “A” game. She was lively , full of energy, and shared the stories with great enthusiasm! I didn’t see any ghosts myself, (as I rarely do) but it was lovely to see the city at night. Our house Cash was every bit the gentleman and pulled our carriage without complaint.

An okay tour

It was nice but not over the top. The stories were average, and the narrator was fine but not as good as I've had on those rides. The haunted aspect was underwhelming and the stories were interesting but there was no scariness to it. I suppose I was expecting a bit more, it was a Charleston carriage ride with minor inflection on 'haunted stories' to me. Worth the money but not a must see or do.

Star was a great tour guide, so personable and funny, but in my opinion the experience wasn’t worth $100 for the two of us. We really only went around a few blocks and didn’t get to see much. Wayne did a great job pulling us around though!

Shannon and Ron gave us a great tour. I was impressed with with our tour guide knowledge of the Ghost of Charleston. Ron along with the other horses seemed to be well cared for and and know their job. Most impressed by both. Gary B

A friend was visiting so I thought an evening carriage ride was a good way to see the city and avoid the heat.

The narrator on the tour was nice enough but he should really watch his references and certain phrases he used. For example "light in the loafers" was not appreciated by people in my party. Also was not a "ghost tour". We heard little about ghosts.

Absolute must for those who love the spooky things and want to learn about the history of Charleston!

We loved the haunted carriage tour and think it’s an absolute must on your list of things to do in Charleston, especially if you love the spooky stuff like us. Our tour guide Madison was super sweet, engaging and knowledgeable. And she did a great job telling us about the spooky history while also handling the horse- awesome multitasking! I loved how she told us some things to look up for reference about the stories and shared where we could find additional information. Our horse Ron was also the best, he was so beautiful and did a great job guiding us through the city. Definitely don’t pass up this ghost tour on your trip, The Old Carolina Carriage Company definitely knows what they’re doing and if you’re lucky you might get to meet their barn kitty too! :)

Our tour guide had some interesting ghost stories and clever jokes. But I really enjoyed how open they were with photography of the horses and explained the care for their horses. It’s a concern for many animal lovers, including me, to see them give the horses the respect they deserve.
