Imagica Snow Park
Although the Indian state of Maharashtra rarely gets cold enough to see snow, locals can still go sledding and have friendly snowball fights, thanks to Imagica Snow Park. Spread over 15,000 square feet (1,394 square meters), this is India’s largest snow park and offers wintery activities suitable for visitors of all ages.
The Basics
This snow park is part of the larger Imagica complex, which also features a theme park and a water park. Visit the sledding and snow-rafting slope, enjoy a snowball fight, and explore the snow castle and the igloo. Temperatures are kept around 23°F (-5°C), and the park produces real snow that’s safe for human consumption.
A ticket to the park allows you to stay and enjoy the cold and games for a discreet, 45-minute session. Pre-book tickets to guarantee admission on popular days, or opt for a package that includes transportation or entry to Imagica’s other parks.

Jackets, gloves, and boots are loaned to all guests, free of charge.
Outside food and drink is not allowed at the park, except for baby formula.
How to Get There
Imagica Snow Park is in a rural area southeast of Mumbai, about a two-hour drive from the city center. The park runs an early-morning shuttle bus to the park that takes anywhere from two to three hours (depending which part of Mumbai you start from). You can also take a train to Khopoli, which is about 20 minutes from the park, and hire an autorickshaw to take you the rest of the way.

When to Get There
The snow park is open daily all year round, with sessions held every hour on the hour. The park only allows a limited number of guests for each session, so pre-book your time slot, or get to the park early in the morning to reserve your spot. You’ll need to arrive 15 minutes before your session to prepare for entry.
Make a Day of It
Sessions at the snow park are only 45 minutes long, so make the most of your visit by pairing your snow adventure with a trip visit with a trip to one of the other Imagica parks on the same site. You can head to Imagica Theme Park, where you'll find a range of roller coasters, or spend some time at Imagica Water Park, which offers water slides, pools, and Mykonos-themed relaxation areas.
