Join a local cook as you are led through step-by-step recipes for sayadia, made from basmati rice and fish, and bukhari, spiced rice with either lamb or chicken. Then, enjoy the fruits of your labor during a tasty sit-down meal.

Learn to make date molasses with a small-group Aqaba cooking class that explores a traditional Jordanian delicacy. After a welcome glass of Arabic coffee, join a local chef to prepare the date molasses from beginning to end, then enjoy the treat alongside some herbal tea. You’ll get to keep the date molasses you make, leaving the class with a unique, homemade souvenir.

Henna is Known since ancient times, it has a kind of sanctity in many cultures as they use it in cosmetics; thanks to its quality in dyeing the hair and body. Kohl is considered one of the oldest types of cosmetics among ancient cultures. It is a drawing around the eyes for women and men to show the beauty of the eyes. Participants will be picked up from their hotels or hostels by Aqabawi staff. Participants will meet with the Henna artist and be welcomed by an Arabian coffee and will get a brief of information about the history of Kohol and Henna. Participants will choose from many different preset Henna drawings or ask the artist to draw a specific design. After the artist finishes the Henna drawing, she will explain the best practices to keep the Henna drawing as long as it could be.

A mosaic is a piece of art or image made from the assembling of small pieces of colored glass, stone, or other materials. It is often used in decorative art or as interior decoration. Most mosaics are made of small, flat, roughly square, pieces of stone or glass of different colors, known as tesserae. Some, especially floor mosaics, are made of small rounded pieces of stone, and called "pebble mosaics". Mosaics have a long history, starting in Mesopotamia in the 3rd millennium BC. Pebble mosaics were made in Tiryns in Mycenean Greece; mosaics with patterns and pictures became widespread in classical times, both in Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome. Early Christian basilicas from the 4th century onwards were decorated with wall and ceiling mosaics. Mosaic art flourished in the Byzantine Empire from the 6th to the 15th centuries

Our guides are experienced and belong to the bedouin community of Wadi Rum. They will prepare delicious bedouin dishes on the fire, tea and coffee(please let us know, if you are vegetarian). If needed you can sleep in a traditional Bedouin Camp or take a shower ;-) Yoh will wake up in the middle of the desert with unforgettabel Sunroses! In the early morning youll be the first and can take gorgeous pictures. We will hike upon the highest mountain in Jordan Jabal Umm ad Dami before breakfast. Our Bedouin Yoga Camp is always an option! This is the most authentic way to get to know the desert. We offer you comfortable matrasses, blankets and pillows so that you will sleep like in heaven with a sky full of stars.

The city of Aqaba is home to this unique art, since the early 1930s, it has housed dozens of shops. You will learn how is the bottle sand art is made and you will get the chance to create your own bottle design guided by a local professional sand artist. Participants will do the experience of making his own colored sand bottle. Where you get the chance to try this 3 times guided by the sand artist. Participants will be able to ask the artist for a custom made sand bottle.
